HOW TO WALK IN THE BEST THAT GOD WANTS FOR YOU

There is a place in God where we can experience the best in life and rise above our problems and circumstances.

Sadly, too many Christians are just waiting for all the problems and all the attacks of the enemy to come upon them so that they can stand or do warfare against it, and there are very few believers who have the revelation enough Biblical sense to wake up and say “Why walk in all that? Why not rise up and live above the circumstances every day of my life?”

The point is: Why go through it if we can actually avoid it? Why endure it if we can actually live above and beyond it? Well, this is the truth that God has placed in His Word — from day to day, we are called to walk by faith and live by faith. This is the secret to living the best life that God has originally intended for us. That is, only if we want to. Here’s what we need to do.

Understand What Faith is and Walk in It

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” – Hebrews 11:1

The Bible says that without Divine Faith, it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). As born-again believers, we need to grasp the fact that God expects us to operate in this life by faith, not just sometimes, not just once in a while, but at all times. In fact, we need to understand that our walk of faith has to be a day to day situation. We also need to grasp that we in ourselves can’t produce faith, we can’t manufacture faith and all we can do is receive it. Four times we find in the Bible the words “and the just shall live by faith.” (Romans 1:17, Habakkuk 2:4, Galatians 3:11, Hebrews 10:38,) It’s more than just exercising faith whenever we have a crisis but we are to walk by faith.

“Faith is…” means it is in the present. Faith can only be faith if it’s in the present. Faith is now. Faith can’t be tomorrow. Divine faith can’t be yesterday. Faith to be what God considers faith has to function always in the present tense. For instance, when we say that “God is going to heal us…” then that simply means that for us, God has not done it yet, which is contrary to the Word of God. The Bible tells us that “By His stripes, we ARE healed” (Isaiah 53:5). We are healed. Then that means it is already done, in the present. If we keep on saying “God is going to heal me”… then we are calling God a liar because it is in total opposition of what God said. That is why Faith is… it is now.

Faith is THE SUBSTANCE of things hoped for. Hope doesn’t have any substance to it. Hope is just a guideline that God is going to do something but if we only have hope then the ship is going down. It’s only when we add FAITH to our hope that the ship will stay afloat. Hope sets the goal and it’s only an expectation so we’ve got to add FAITH to it.  FAITH will manifest what has already been done. Faith is the evidence. Evidence is proof. It validates the existence of something that we don’t yet have. Faith is substance that is proof for something that we don’t yet have. The healing is the manifestation, but the evidence or the proof is FAITH. This means, we don’t need any more faith in a particular situation once the faith brings about the manifestation of that thing. So then, if faith is the proof, then faith must be something. Faith itself must be something because how could it be the evidence of something if it in itself is not something?

Faith is the proof of things not seen. How do we prove that I have something if I can’t see it?

Don’t Look at the Devil, Look unto Jesus

We like to talk about our trials and tribulations and we always talk about how the devil’s after us all the time and we don’t know what to do, but if we are to walk by faith, then we must stop doing this. We must believe that Jesus is our example. The Bible tells us that we look unto Jesus, the author and the finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). We don’t look to the devil. We don’t look at people. We look to Jesus because He is our example, our model, our blueprint, our leader.

We have to change this wrong mentality. We usually brag of how hard our situation is and how powerful the devil is and that this sickness is so much greater than God and our faith. And every time we talk like this, we don’t bring much honor to God, aside from getting a little sympathy from other people. Remember that what we say is what we hear and what we hear determines the divine faith that will come to us.

Lastly, we don’t look to our senses either. Going back to the question “how do we prove that we have something if we can’t see it?” This is where Jesus and the spirit realm comes in. The devil appeals to our senses, to our emotions, to our flesh. But when we walk by faith, we leave the realm of the senses. Senses are reality. But clearly, what God is telling us is that when we walk by faith, we have to leave the realm of our senses. Our senses can’t help us to walk by faith. Our senses deter us from pleasing God.

God wants us to walk in His best. So come hell or high water, don’t settle for less. Go for God’s best. If God gave His best for us, that means He wants us to have it, as what He teaches in the Bible. And the only thing we need to walk in that best and to live above our circumstance is FAITH.

So you know what to do. Make that decision today. Walk by faith and live the best life that God wants for you.
