“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
God has a word for us in this season. Amidst the troubles and the trials in our world today, God continues to show His mighty works in our lives. There have been powerful words spoken over us that we might have forgotten over the years, but He is bringing it back so that we can get another chance at following Him.
Even if we have already been saved, we can still fail God. But Scripture says that “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (see 1 John 1:9).” When we repent, God can give us a second chance to do the assignment we failed.
As a church, the Lord reminds us of the prophetic word Bishop Neil C. Ellis gave us in 2006. Now that we’re facing a new season at Evangel Cathedral, it is only fitting to go back to the word spoken to us so that we’ll know where God is leading us in the next months.
We are the generation that will walk with a greater level of authority and power flowing from the Kingdom. However, we must also be people who walk in purity. God is raising up and mobilizing an army. He is calling His people to holiness. In this season, we are claiming cities, states, and regions for the glory of God.
Six Prophecies for You to Claim Today
One: It’s time for you to feel good about yourself
You are so significant to God, you have purpose and value. There are no limits to what you can achieve except the limits you put on yourself. Celebrate your life because it’s about to get much better from here. But there’s an enemy that wants you to stay in your current state. Don’t let the devil keep you stagnant.
Two: It’s time to unlock the spirit of greatness in you
Declare this: There is greatness in me!
When you receive this truth, it will become a reality in your life. Joshua 17:17 says, “You are a great people and have great power; you shall not have only one lot.” God has anointed us to become great individuals who belong to great people. Nothing about you is ordinary. You’ve been given an extraordinary assignment. You were called to be different. This means you won’t fit everywhere.
It was never God’s intention for you to have only what you have right now. Greater is coming. You shall not have only one lot– God is raising you up to steward more of His blessings.
Three: Begin to dream dreams that will demand supernatural intervention
This is the time for you to dream dreams so big that you’ll never make it without God’s help. For with God, nothing is impossible! (Luke 1:37) If the Spirit of God has given you a dream, He will cause it to happen. If your dream is not big enough, seek Him and ask Him to provide you with His dreams.
Four: God has placed an open door in front of you that no one can shut.
“I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.”
God has placed a door for you to go through. Don’t let anybody stop you. If you know in your spirit that it is indeed from the Lord, use the authority He has given you to go through it—no matter who is in your way! The door is open. Do not doubt. This is a God-appointed opportunity. Prepare yourself: Open doors mean change. Going through change can be difficult not just for you but for the people around you.
Five: There are adversaries anointed to block your entrance to go through the door. Accept that many people will not be able to handle what you’ll get in your life.
Others will notice when you receive from the Lord and experience the great things He has in store for you this season. They will see the difference. But you must be aware: There will be people who will try to stop you—it could be someone with authority over you, someone close to you, someone you trust, or someone who goes against God’s plan for your life. Even with these people around you, God will lead you to find others who will celebrate and bear witness to what He is doing in your life. When this also happens to your brothers and sisters in the faith, be the person who will celebrate and bear witness to the great things God is doing in their lives.
Six: Expect God to move in your life in a significant way
“The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.” –Deuteronomy 28:8
If you believe God will make a major move in your life, in our church, then you must be willing to take risks. Faith without works is dead (see James 2:17), so we must move according to the rhema word we have received from the Holy Spirit. Then, when we go where He leads us, we will bear witness to the fulfillment of His promises.
Change. Growth. Expansion. Victory. Access. Ownership.
Remember these words. Declare them. Something in your life is about to be affected. If you’ve received God’s direction, then you can expect these things to happen in your life. As you wait for the prophecy to be fulfilled, praise God like it has already happened!
