Everytime God moves to do something, He will always move according to a divine principle or divine pattern. Therefore, we must know the principles and the patterns of the Scripture, for in them are contained the ways of God.
These are the principles that we need to learn if we want to move into the realm of the supernatural and witness the miraculous happening in our lives. Why? Because ignorance brings darkness and death (Hosea 4:6) but the lumination and light brings life and direction to us. We cannot exercise faith for something we do not know in our spirits. We cannot believe without information. God does not expect us to exercise faith if it did not come from Him and His Word. The Word is our foundation for our faith.(Romans 10:17)
Here are two important things you need to consider if you want to experience the supernatural in your life:
What do You Have in Your House?
“And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? Tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not anything in the house, save a pot of oil.” – 2 Kings 4:2
The oil, the power, the anointing of God is never the problem! Elisha asks the widow in the story what she has in her house. The miracles always start with what we have in our house. What do you have in your house that God can use for a miracle? And it would be good to also ask the opposite: What do you have in your house that will prevent you from getting a miracle from God?
According to God’s Word, our homes ought to be houses of prayer, worship, and dignity with the peace of God resting upon them. There should be honor between parents and children. But sadly, these are not the things we find inside our homes many times. We hardly have a house of prayer today because of tension and because the spirit of this age is trying to take our children from us.
All God needs is a vessel. And you are a vessel. God’s got the power, God’s got the oil, and HE just needs a place to pour out the miracle. He wants to put the miracle in you, and in your house! If you want to get a miracle, then you have to be a vessel. God’s power is always looking for a place to happen, where it can be released. God’s heart for us is to enter into that divine dimension of the supernatural.
How Big of a Miracle do You Want?
“Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few.” – 2 Kings 4:3
Elisha was asking the widow in this story: How much of a miracle do you want? You want a big miracle, go borrow more vessels. What does this mean? It means we determine the magnitude of our miracle!
We are the ones who determined the depth, the height, and the magnitude of our own miracle. If we want God to grant us more miracles, then we need to have more space in our lives where the miracles can be poured out. We need to empty our lives of all that may hinder the power and presence of God from being given to us – sins, compromises, giving open doors to the enemy to enter our lives and even our homes. These things are debris that prevent us from receiving our miracles. We need to be empty vessels! God is looking for people who will cooperate and help Him perform His miracles by being willing, empty, and clean vessels of His anointing, of His power, of His oil.
But sometimes, we ask for the big miracles yet what we’re giving to God is just a small portion and corner of our souls to put the miracle in. We need to get rid of any carcass and debris that’s in our life that may be hindering our miracle.
The miracles of God are not difficult to experience. The miracles of God are very much accessible for every believer who’s willing to be a vessel and who’s willing to receive more. This is the time when we need more miracles happening daily inside our homes because the enemy is not stopping from stealing, killing, and destroying us and our families. It’s about time we move into the supernatural and experience the miraculous in every area of our lives. So go and get your miracle!
